How can I see where the contact is associated with regards to deals?
The “Acuity” tab on the contact record page displays the contact’s relationships to deals and fundraisings in the system.
The “Deals” section shows any deals the contact participated in as part of the Deal Team.
Where can I see how the contact relates to the firm? (internal vs external)
The “Connections” section of the Contact record page offers insight into the contact’s position in your internal and external networks. The “Internal” tab summarizes all interactions between the contact and your firm’s members, while the “External” tab summarizes all interactions between the contact and other external contacts in your network.
How can I Review other firms/contacts/deals I have discussed with this firm?
On the left side of the contact page, you can find the “Tagged” section. This section displays the other firms, contacts, and deals that have been mentioned in conversations with or alongside this contact.
The number to the right of each record indicates how many meetings the records have been tagged in, and the results in this section will be sorted by this column. You can click on this number to see the details of these meetings.
What details can I view in emails from Contacts?
Navatar displays all email activity with Contacts in your Outlook. By default, the system only logs the subject, sender, and recipients. If you want to save the full email body, you must do so manually using the Outlook Connector, and then it will be visible to everyone in the system.

Automatic Email Details
To view the email activity between this contact and another person, check the email column on the right-hand side of the Connections section. Clicking on the number will reveal details of all exchanged emails.
Full Email Details
Saving an email via the Outlook Connector will create an interaction in the system, visible under the “Interactions” section at the top of the contact record page. The section displays the four most recent interactions but clicking the “View All” button on the bottom right reveals all interactions. To view the details of any interaction, click on the subject of the email.
How can I review recent interactions?
You can see these from the “Interactions” section on the top of the contact record page. Here, you will see the four most recent interactions, but you can see the full interactions by clicking the “View All” button in the bottom right of this section. Click on the subject of any of these interactions to view the full interaction details.
How can I enter new Interactions?
Navatar gathers a significant amount of interaction data from Outlook, but occasionally interactions may occur outside of Outlook, such as a phone call or a chance encounter at a coffee shop. To include these interactions in the record, click the “Draft” button located in the top-right corner of the “Interactions” section on any Contact record page.
How can I add meeting notes to an existing interaction?
From the Interactions Window
From the interactions section, you’ll be able to see which of the four most recent interactions do not have notes attached because they will have a blue “Add notes” button on the interaction card. Click this button to add notes.
From View All
To view all interactions linked to this contact, click “View All” in the bottom-right corner of the “Interactions” section. Note that interactions without attached notes will have a blank “Details” column. To add notes, select the subject name to open the meeting note window, then click “Edit” in the top-right corner.
How can I view details about this record?
When accessing a financial sponsor or strategic corp. page, the Acuity tab will load by default, providing you with relationship intelligence related to that firm. To edit the specific details of the record, click on the “Details” tab from the tab menu at the top of the page.
How can I see what themes and clips have been tagged to this record?
The left side of the contact or strategic corp. page contains the “Tagged” section. Here, you can view records that have been tagged in interactions with this contact, as well as any Themes or Clips that this firm is a part of. The “Themes” and “Clips” columns in this section allow you to view these connections.
How can I view Relationship Details on Mobile?
From the Navatar Mobile app, you will be able to see any items that are directly related to the Contact, such as Interactions and Deals. You will only be able to see the tagged section from the main Navatar site.
